The Quality of Your Life is Dependent on the Quality of Your Thoughts
First steps in overcoming your fears and challenges
Part 1D
Where we stand with others
Welcome to all the new people who have subscribed to our newsletter or written us with questions. Let
me also apologize for the amount of time that has passed since our last outing. Things have been quite busy.
One of the many questions I hear over and over again is why me. Why am I the person that is stuck
with this way of thinking, why am I the person who behaves this, why am I the person who can't seem to make things work. One of the things we seldom see in someone is the mental challenges they go through.
Behind every smiling face, inside every productive person, demanding within every decisive person are thoughts that are both supporting and destructive to that person. It has been estimated that the average
person has up to 60,000 thoughts in a day, the majority of which are negative or defeating in some manor or another. This is not necessarily a bad thing. In order to navigate through the world, it can be very
beneficial to spot those things that could be wrong, that may cause harm or that are not in alignment with our best interests.
Where it becomes a problem is when we can't differentiate between what our concepts fabricate and our
senses are actually aware of. It is one of the places where we begin to trap ourselves into limitations. Remember that the mind does not differentiate between what is real or vividly imagined. It is why we can
have anxieties about things to come or feel guilt over events years ago. You are not alone, but these are things that are not tangible and usually things people are not as willing to freely divulge.
