RELEASING PHOBIAS
Over 5 % of the American population is effected by a phobia in one form or another. These are the same people you see everyday at work and play, who have an intense association to a past traumatic event, one that can be vividly relived when a stimulus is brought into their consciousness. In extreme cases, any representation of the stimulus will trigger a phobic response, such as the mention of a spider to an arachnophobic.
Today, Living with these disorders does not need to be a way of life! New methods now allow your mind to quickly dissociate from the events you had been struggling with in the past. Your subconscious mind is structured with building blocks that inform you when it is time to have your negative emotions. In the case of Claustrophobia, there is a feeling of being confined or trapped when
enclosed in a certain setting. Like many specific phobias, there is an association to a past event in that persons life, one that may or may not be with in the realm of their consciousness. Often these fears can be release in matter of a few
sessions. While the event itself will still be in your memory, the emotional attachment you had will be gone. Hence, no more phobia. Other people have suffered with more complex challenges, such as the fear of vomiting ( Emetophobia), Social
