POST TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a reaction to an overwhelming traumatic event. It fall under the category of an anxiety disorder because of the similarity of symptoms. Events that
contribute to PTSD are usually quite intense, such as sexual assault, severe auto accident or military combat, though it may occur in people who have witnessed an accidents or who lose a loved one had passed on unexpectedly. There seems to be
no time limit on when PTSD takes hold. It may be instantaneous or take years after the initial event. Some experience emotional numbness or amnesia related to the event. Symptoms may include emotional withdrawal, anger, hopelessness,
moodiness, sleep disorders, mental flashbacks, the inability to concentrate, and an excessive startle response to noise. If you have lived through any of this and felt the anguish of reoccurring past events, what would it be like
